Edge of the Woods Hat

Let’s make those leftover yarns into something cute. This is hat version of stranded pattern that I published as cowl before. So cute with or without additional pompom on the top of the hat. Let’s take a walk into the edge of the Woods. :smile:

This hat is for advanced beginner or semi intermediate, using basic knitting, basic decrease, simple stranded, and slip stitch.

This pattern are in written pattern and chart.

I made this hat in three size: child, adult small, and adult big. All in same height. So maybe you will find that for child size it will be a little bit slouchy.

The samples knitted in SA Poyeng yarn (acrylic) in 6 solid colors, but feel free using any DK yarn that suited for 3.5 - 4.5 mm knitting needle.

My advice is just to dive into your old stashes where you save your leftover from previous project instead of open new ball of yarns.

What you need are = DK weight yarns in 6 solid colors and needle in suitable size, and a pom-pom maker or ready to used Pom-pom.
