For Him Baby hat & Booties Set

This is a simple baby booties yet also cute at the same time. You can practice your neatness of sewing by doing this project :p. This booties is paired with the popular “two buttoned baby hat”. The skills needed are: basic knitting, basic increase, and decrease. I also add a specific technique that will do only once (please contact me if you know a common substitute for this technique)

I made this hat and booties in one size. But you can easily make them into another size by changing the yarns and needles into bigger or smaller ones.

The samples knitted in SA Poyeng yarn in 2 different solid colors, but feel free using any DK yarn that suited for 3.5 - 4.5 mm knitting needle.

What you need are = DK weight yarns in 2 solid colors, needle suitable for the yarn, darning/tapestry needle, buttons for the hat.
